QC would make sure the components were within acceptable tolerances , i.e. they did not vary from agreed specifications. Within software production, however, the intangible nature of software makes it difficult to set up a Test and Measurement QC department that follows the manufacturing model.

SQA is only a part of continuous improvement (see CMMI); however continuous improvement cannot be achieved without the measurements of SQC and the audits of SQA.

A number of models, and references, for software characterization can be found on the internet. One such model is called the FURPS model which was developed by Robert Grady at Hewlett Packard. If a pure implementation of the FURPS model, or similar, was possible then QC and QA, from manufacturing, could be applied to software production.

The second strategy, to overcome the essential difficulties of software production, is prototyping.

With this approach a risk (or immeasurable characteristic) is identified, i.e. Usability, and a prototype that addresses that risk is built. In this way a given aspect of the software product can be measured. The prototype itself could evolve into the end product or it could be thrown away . This approach takes an interactive path as it is quite possible the software requirements (which should include all the software characteristics) may need to be revisited.

Whilst SQA and SQC, definitions, can be traced to their manufacturing counter parts, the implementation of SQA and SQC continues to find their own unique paths. Manager, eventually you will become familiar with the
processes that commonly run. So when you see an
unfamiliar process, you can do a little investigation to
make sure it is not a virus. For example, if you see
msblast.exe in the process list, the computer is infected
with the Blaster virus. You may be able to detect a new virus and
eliminate before an antivirus update is available.

Features Of Toshiba Satellite Notebook

I am a loyal user of Toshiba Satellite notebook. I have been using these for a number of years without any problem whatsoever. The model I am using now is M35-S320 which was introduced a few years back. It has become obsolete and I would be very surprised if you get this model at all in any store. You of course get one at one grand if you shop online.

The Toshiba Satellite note book that I use, may have become obsolete but this laptop serves my purpose to the tee. In the computer world, there is nothing obsolete it is just that newer models have been introduced. My Toshiba note book is equipped with a 60GB hard drive, 512MB of RAM memory, and a Pentium-M 1.5 Ghz processor. It also carries a combined DVD-ROM/CD-RW unit, a 32MB NVIDIA Geforce FX Go5200 graphics card, a 15.4 inch TFT screen, and indeed a wireless modem and network card. These seem to be quite sufficient features for an efficient laptop notebook.

The name Toshiba Satellite is so because of its wireless network feature. The time when this was introduced, it was considered state of the art. These days of course, most laptops have wireless network facility. In spite of so many brands available in the market, the Toshiba Satellite has not lost out on its popularity. It gives instant internet access, as long as you have accessible network close by.

The Toshiba Satellite notebook is a reasonably mighty little laptop with the capability of handling big entertainment features like movies and computer games. Since it has an excellent built-in graphic card, speedy processors and a heavy-duty RAM memory capacity, it can handle the modern computer games with ease and show movies with superb visuals. In fact, I use my Toshiba Satellite notebook primarily for playing games or watch movies when I used to work in remote areas.

Towards the beginning of 2006, the brand new model of the M-series of the notebook was introduced, the M-65. This magnificent model has a bigger hard drive with a faster and better processor and graphic card. Though it retains the satellite name and can access the internet with equal ease as the previous models, the M-65 is marketed with more emphasis on its graphical capabilities.

However my only bone of contention with the Toshiba Satellite series is the poor sound quality. I grumble with my M-35 because of this inadequacy. But I know if I spend a little more, I can easily buy a set of speakers to boost up the sound system, if I ever desire that.

The jury duty scam is the newest type of identity theft scammers are using to get your personal information. This is a new twist on identity theft, and you should be aware of it so you can avoid becoming a new victim.
With the jury duty scam, the scammer calls you claiming to work for the local court and tells you that you failed to report for jury duty. He then explains that a warrant has been issued for your arrest.
When you explain that you never received the jury duty notification that sets up the perfect question for the identity theft scam. The scammer then asks you for identity verification wanting your social security number.
Once that is provided the scammers go for even more information like birth date and sometimes credit card numbers just because there are some people that will give it out freely.
Scammers tell you that a warrant has been issued for your arrest to catch you off guard. That thought is so powerful you don t think about protecting your confidential information and quickly become a victim of the identity theft scam.
Here are a few ways you can protect yourself from the jury duty scam.
1. Never give out your Social Security number, credit card numbers, bank or any other personal or confidential information on the phone unless you originated the call and are positive you know who you are talking to.
2. People who work for the courts will never call you to ask for social security numbers or credit card numbers. If someone calls wanting this information, hang up.
3. If you fail to appear for jury duty, the court will send a second summons by mail. The courts do not call and threaten to arrest people.
The jury duty scam is the latest in a series of identity theft scams where scammers use the phone to try to get someones social security number and other confidential information.
The scammers will continue to come up with new ways to try and get your personal information. But if you are aware of how it works you might be able to avoid becoming a victim of this jury duty scam.

Those who are in the market for an anti-virus or anti-spyware program, which will protect their computer from all the traps out there, are at an unusual risk that they may not be aware of. On the web, there are a number of rogue security programs being advertised and they will do anything but protect a computer. The cold truth is that they are designed to trick web users and if downloaded, they will slow down their computers, bombard them with irritating pop-up ads, and more importantly, they will often compromise their privacy.
SpyCrush is one of these "fake" anti-spyware programs to be on the lookout for. With a trojan, SpyCrush will install itself on your computer and unless it s removed immediately, it can do tremendous harm to your system.
SpyCrush is likely a clone of VirusBurst. After all, it looks just like VirusBurst and if you read the user agreement, VirusBurst is actually in it. Essentially, this newer version of VirusBurst is a form of "ransomware," because if a web surfer does install it, instead of it scanning their computer for spyware and viruses and promptly removing them, it will actually issue warnings titled "Security Alert!" which advise them to then download the full version of SpyCrush to correct the situation.
